Choosing electrical products
Start with the job. For wiring, match the terminal or connector to the wire and the connection, and check the data sheet for ratings before you buy. For fuses, check the type and the amp rating of the one you are replacing. For motors, choose by supply (three phase or single phase), power, speed, frame size and mounting, and pair a three phase motor with a drive if you want speed control. For lighting, titles show the lumens and whether a light is rechargeable, and batteries and chargers for Coast lights are listed separately. Always check the product data sheet for ratings, voltage and compatibility, and have work on fixed wiring done by a licensed electrician.
