Coupling Pins & Rubbers

Buy Coupling Pins & Rubbers Online in Australia

Rubber rings, pins and nuts are the parts of a flexible coupling that wear and get replaced. AIMS Industrial lists four Finer Power Transmissions spares for cone ring couplings: rubber rings, polyurethane rubber rings, pins and nuts, and complete pin, nut and rubber assemblies, offered across the KX20 to KX170 coupling sizes. For choosing a whole coupling see the flexible coupling guide.

What's in the range

Product Sizes Notes
Cone Ring Coupling Rubber Rings No. 1 to No. 6: KX20, KX30-42, KX48-70, KX75-105, KX120-150, KX170 The widest size range of the four, from the smallest to the largest coupling.
Cone Ring Coupling Polyurethane Rubber Rings No. 2 to No. 5: KX30-42, KX48-70, KX75-105, KX120-150 A polyurethane version of the rubber ring.
Cone Ring Coupling Pins and Nuts No. 2 to No. 5: KX30-42, KX48-70, KX75-105, KX120-150 Pins and nuts without the rubber.
Cone Ring Coupling Pin, Nut and Rubber Assemblies No. 2 to No. 5: KX30-42, KX48-70, KX75-105, KX120-150 Pin, nut and rubber supplied together.

Choosing coupling pins and rubbers

Match the spare to the coupling you already have. The size is the KX number on the coupling, such as KX48-70, and each product above is listed by that number. If you cannot find it, send us the hub dimensions or a photo of the coupling and we will help identify the size.

Check the pins when you replace the rubber. A worn pin will shorten the life of a new rubber ring, so replacing them together or buying the assembly saves a second shutdown. If rubber rings are wearing faster than expected, check the shaft alignment before fitting new ones, because misalignment is a common cause of early wear.

Always check the data sheet. Confirm the coupling size and the rubber type suit your drive and its duty before you order.

Coupling pins and rubbers FAQs

What coupling pins and rubbers does AIMS list?

Four Finer Power Transmissions products for cone ring couplings: rubber rings, polyurethane rubber rings, pins and nuts, and pin, nut and rubber assemblies. Together they cover sizes from KX20 to KX170.

How do I find the right size?

Use the KX number on your coupling, for example KX30-42 or KX75-105. Each product is listed by that number. If you are unsure, call us on (02) 9773 0122 with the hub dimensions and we will help.

Do I need to replace the pins as well as the rubber?

Inspect the pins when you replace the rubber. Worn pins shorten the life of new rubber rings, so replace them together where they show wear. The pin, nut and rubber assemblies supply all three in one set.

What is the polyurethane rubber ring for?

It is a polyurethane version of the cone ring rubber, listed for sizes No. 2 to No. 5. Check the data sheet or ask us whether it suits your duty before swapping it for the standard rubber ring.

Why are my coupling rubbers wearing out quickly?

Check shaft alignment first, as misalignment is a common cause of early wear on flexible coupling rubbers. Correct the alignment, then fit the new rubbers.
