Choosing crack detection sprays
The kit has everything for a complete test, and the individual cans let you restock the one you use most. The steps are numbered so you work in order: clean the surface, apply the penetrant, then apply the developer and inspect the result. Always follow the instructions on the can for dwell times and removal of excess penetrant, as the method depends on doing each step properly.
Welds, castings and machined parts are typical places to test. Use in a well ventilated area and wear suitable eye and hand protection.
