Choosing an Excision product

For bandsaw blades, match the blade to your machine first: length, width and thickness, then the tooth pitch for the material and section size. Many blades are listed by length range, so check the range against your machine before you order. For fluids, choose between neat oils, soluble, semi-synthetic and synthetic coolants to suit your machine and material, and check the pack size, as most are sold in 10L Ebox packs. Always check the data sheet for the correct use and dilution of each product.

Excision FAQs

What bandsaw blade lengths and widths do you list?

Widths run from 6mm to 80mm. Many blades are listed as a length range, such as 685 to 1790mm, and others as a set length, so check the listing against your machine. Call (02) 9773 0122 if you need a length that is not shown.

What is the difference between M42 and M51 blades?

Both are listed as bi-metal bandsaw blades. M42 is the larger group, including Bi-Alfa Cobalt M42, and M51 is listed as a cobalt bi-metal blade. Check the data sheet for the material each blade suits.

Which cutting fluid should I choose?

The range includes neat oils, soluble, semi-synthetic and synthetic coolants, a carbide grinding fluid and a plasma protector. Check the intended use on each listing, or call us and we'll help you match one to your machine and material.
