Choosing a masonry screw anchor

Choose the head style for the job: hex flange or hex head for a spanner or socket, countersunk where the screw must sit flush, and Torx drive dome head where you use a Torx bit. Match the thread size and length to the fixture and the depth of the base material. Choose the finish for the environment, such as zinc plated or yellow for dry indoor use and galvanised where there is more moisture. Drill the hole to the diameter given on the data sheet.

Always check the data sheet. Confirm the hole size, embedment depth and load rating before you order, and confirm it suits the base material.
