Choosing sandpaper
Start with the backing and the abrasive: paper or cloth, aluminium oxide or silicon carbide. Silicon carbide wet and dry sheets are listed separately from dry aluminium oxide paper, so check which you need. Then pick the format (sheet, half sheet or roll) and the grit, which is shown on each listing. Always check the data sheet for the recommended use.
