Choosing Yoke lifting hardware
Start with the job and the grade. Grade 80 and Grade 100 are named in the titles, and every part in a lifting assembly needs a rating that suits the load, so check that the hooks, connectors and chain or sling you choose are rated for it. Then pick the hook style: sling hooks, grab hooks, self locking hooks, foundry hooks and so on, and choose the size from the variants. Lifting points and weld on hooks are listed by the size or capacity shown in the variant.
Always check the data sheet. Confirm the rating, size and fitting suit your lift before ordering. Lifting gear should be used in line with the manufacturer's instructions and your site's procedures.
