Lockjaw L2180250 290mm Swivel Pad C-Clamp, 80mm

The Lockjaw L2180250 is a 290mm extended reach locking C-clamp with a swivel pad and an 80mm jaw opening. The deeper throat gives extra reach, and the swivel pad sits flat on angled work without denting or gouging delicate surfaces. It suits fabricators, welders, panel workers and maintenance fitters. A locking C-clamp is a locking plier built in a C shape. It holds work like a clamp, hands free, until you squeeze the release lever.

Ordinary locking pliers need two hands to set the jaw opening for each job. Lockjaw pliers adjust themselves: set the clamp pressure once with the Set and Forget screw, from slight to extreme, and the jaws then close on thick or thin work with the same grip, one-handed. To choose: the 290mm model without a swivel pad, L2170250, opens wider at 112mm. For longer reach, the 455mm swivel pad L2160480 opens to 220mm.
