1/2 in (15 mm) Brass Bib Cock, Stainless Steel Lever | VBC15

This AAP brass bib cock has a stainless steel lever, in a brass body. It is supplied in 3 sizes from 1/2 in (15 mm) to 1 in (25 mm).

A ball valve turns a ball with a hole through it between sealing seats. When the lever or handle is in line with the pipe the hole lines up with the flow and the valve is open, and a quarter turn closes it. AAP notes that the handle sits in line with the port, so it shows the valve position.

AAP lists it as a brass bib cock with a stainless steel lever (the catalogue name is Brass BIB Cock C/W SS Lever). AAP does not state the thread forms, pressure or temperature rating for its bib cocks, and does not state a drinking water approval for this one, so confirm those with AIMS before you use it on potable supply.

Choose the size to match your supply pipe. Check the outlet and inlet threads against your fittings, because the AAP catalogue does not state them. AAP also lists a lock lever bib cock in 3/4 in. If it is for drinking water, confirm the approval with AIMS first.
