A Type-DC dust cap that closes off Type-A, E or F male adapter ends when the line is disconnected, keeping grit and water out of the cam-and-groove seat. Nyglass is 30% glass-filled nylon, the yellow body. It is lighter than aluminium and stainless, more chemical-tolerant than polypropylene, and holds clamping load better than plain nylon. Manufactured to interchange with any cam-and-groove fitting built to Mil-Spec A-A 59326. A standard part of a complete set of camlock fittings, often paired with camlock hose fittings on bulk tanker and pump lines.
