A forged class 3000 hexagon head bush that reduces from a larger female thread to a smaller male thread in a single piece. Made to ASME B16.11-2009 from stainless steel 316 with male x female BSP threads cut at both ends. Stainless 316 construction makes it suitable for chemical, marine and food service. Pair with stainless mating pipe to avoid galvanic effects. As a hexagon bush (category-derived) in stainless with BSPT connections, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the AAP high-pressure range so a complete joint can be built from one supplier.
