A forged class 3000 hexagon plug that closes off a female-threaded port with a hex-head male plug. Made to ASME B16.11-2009 from stainless steel 316 with BSPT male threads, both ends cut at both ends. Stainless 316 construction makes it suitable for chemical, marine and food service. Pair with stainless mating pipe to avoid galvanic effects. As a hexagon plug (category-derived) in stainless with BSPT connections, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the AAP high-pressure range so a complete joint can be built from one supplier.
