A forged class 3000 hex nipple that short threaded nipple with a hex centre for spanner grip. Made to ASME B16.11-2009 from ASTM A105 carbon steel with BSPT male threads, both ends cut at both ends. Plain black (oiled) finish suits dry or sheltered service. For outdoor or damp installations, use the galvanised variant. As a hex nipple in black with BSPT connections, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the AAP high-pressure range so a complete joint can be built from one supplier.
