This AAP Storz hose tail coupling is a forged aluminium fitting. It is supplied in 8 sizes, 25 mm Storz x 20 mm to 65 mm Storz x 65 mm.
A Storz coupling is a quick connect hose coupling in which both halves are the same, so there is no male and female half. Two couplings join by pushing together and twisting. This coupling has a hose tail at the back so a hose can be clamped on. Sizes are the Storz size first, then the size of the tail.
AAP lists its Storz fittings as forged aluminium, 1600 kPa, ISO 228 threads and NBR, for suction and delivery use (manufacturer-stated). AAP does not say whether 1600 kPa is a working pressure or a test pressure, and does not say which part is NBR, so confirm the pressure, temperature and fluid for your application with AIMS before you order.

Outside diameter, length and weight are the figures AIMS holds for each size; the AAP flyer does not list dimensions, so AIMS is confirming them with AAP. Weights are in grams.
Selecting the right option
Choose the Storz size to match the mating coupling, then the tail size to suit your hose. The tail size is listed by AAP in millimetres, and AAP does not say whether this is the tail outside diameter or the hose it suits, so confirm this with AIMS before you order. A hose clamp or band is needed and is not part of this item. AAP also lists this coupling as 65 x 70 mm (SHC6570T), 75 x 75 mm (SHC75T), 90 x 90 mm (SHC90T), 100 x 100 mm (SHC100T), 125 x 125 mm (SHC125T) and 150 x 150 mm (SHC150T), which AIMS does not currently list. Ask if you need one.
