Abbott & Ashby AA482 Linishing Attachment, 1,220 x 50mm (48 x 2") Belt

The Abbott & Ashby AA482 is a linishing attachment with an extra long 1,220 x 50 mm (48 x 2") belt for larger work pieces. It is installed on the left or right side of most 150 mm (6") and 200 mm (8") bench grinders with a maximum shaft size of 16 mm (manufacturer-stated).

Choose AA482 over AA362 linishing attachment (915 x 50mm belt) when you want the longer 1,220 mm belt for larger work pieces; otherwise the two attachments have the same disc and contact wheel sizes. AA482 weighs 6.5 kg against 5.4 kg for AA362, so check that your grinder and bench can carry it. The 915 mm belts listed for the AA362 are a different length from the 1,220 mm belt on AA482.
