Alpha ATL005 250ml Liquid Gold Cutting Fluid

The Alpha Liquid Gold cutting fluid is a water soluble cutting lubricant that Alpha states is for tapping, drilling or reaming into all metals, including hardened steel and titanium. It comes in a 250ml squeeze bottle (manufacturer-stated).

Alpha states that special additives reduce friction and extend tool life, and that the fluid is easy to use and clean up (manufacturer-stated). The maker also lists it as non-flammable with biodegradable ingredients (manufacturer-stated).

The Alpha catalogue recommends cutting fluid when tapping, drilling or reaming metals, and the instructions for the Alpha 25 piece combination drill and tap set also recommend cutting fluid when tapping metals.
