Alpha HEX560DSS H5 ThunderZone Double Ended Hex Bit

The Alpha HEX560DSS is a ThunderZone double ended hex impact power bit with an H5 hex point at each end and a 7.2mm body diameter, in the 1/4" power bit format, supplied as a single bit (manufacturer-stated).

Alpha states that ThunderZone impact driver bits have an engineered spiral torsion zone that distributes the applied impact evenly through the torsion zone, so cam-out is minimised under high impact and torque loads. The range also uses S2 raw material with full body hardness and a compression forged tip, and magnetism helps the bit grip the screw (manufacturer-stated).

The catalogue lists HEX560DSS in the Double Ended Hex Impact Power Bit table of its ThunderZone section, with wrap and handi pack formats of 10 pieces each. Both ends are H5, so the bit can be reversed in the holder.
