Alpha SQ265DSS SQ2 x 65mm ThunderZone Double Ended Square Bit

The Alpha SQ265DSS is a ThunderZone double ended square impact power bit with an SQ2 point at each end, 65mm overall length and a 7.2mm body diameter, supplied as a pack of 10 (manufacturer-stated).

Alpha states that ThunderZone impact driver bits have an engineered spiral torsion zone that distributes the applied impact evenly through the torsion zone, so cam-out is minimised under high impact and torque loads. The range also uses S2 raw material with full body hardness and a compression forged tip, and magnetism helps the bit grip the screw (manufacturer-stated).

The catalogue lists SQ265DSS in the wrap column of its Double Ended Square Impact Power Bit table with 10 pieces, and also lists handi pack (10 pieces) and card (1 piece) formats. Both ends are SQ2, so the bit can be reversed in the holder.
