Alpha SQ325SS SQ3 x 25mm ThunderZone Square Impact Bit

The Alpha SQ325SS is a ThunderZone square impact bit with an SQ3 point, 25mm overall length and a 7.2mm body diameter and a patented spiral impact zone, supplied as a single bit (manufacturer-stated).

Alpha states that ThunderZone impact driver bits have an engineered spiral torsion zone that distributes the applied impact evenly through the torsion zone, so cam-out is minimised under high impact and torque loads. The range also uses S2 raw material with full body hardness and a compression forged tip, and magnetism helps the bit grip the screw (manufacturer-stated).

The catalogue lists SQ325SS in its Square Impact Insert Bit table, which is the 25mm length, with an SQ2 version beside it. SQ3 is the larger of the two square sizes in that table, so check the size of the screw recess before ordering.
