Asada HSS left-hand threading dies for metric sizes, supplied by size. They are made from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading.
The life of the dies is greatly affected by the quality of cutting oil used, so Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended. HSS dies are for threading stainless steels and high tensile steels.

Selecting the right option
Choose the die by thread type (metric left-hand) and the size you thread. For general purpose threading of black or galvanised pipe and rod choose alloy dies. Use Asada Threading Oil, Standard Grade or Asada Neat Threading Oil, High Grade to extend die life.
