Beaver Grade 80 clevis sling hooks with safety latch suit 6 mm to 22 mm Grade 80 chain, with working load limits (WLL) of 1,100 kg (1.1 t) to 15,000 kg (15 t). The clevis pin connects the hook directly to the chain, so no connecting link is needed, and the hook has a safety latch.

Beaver states that its Grade 80 lifting components are made from heat treated alloy steel, are tested throughout manufacture, and meet AS 3776, Lifting Components for Grade T Chain Slings. They carry distinguishing marks, including the brand, grade and size and a date of manufacture and batch ID.

Selecting the right option

Choose the size by the WLL and the chain size it must match, and make sure every part of the assembly (chain, link, hook and lifting point) is Grade 80 and rated for the load.
