The BECO BHTS ZZ GR CG 350° is a deep groove ball bearing that runs without grease. A one-piece graphite coronet cage lubricates the bearing directly for its whole life, so there is no grease to burn off and no oil dropping system to fit. It is built on standard bearing boundary dimensions from stabilised AISI 52100 chrome steel, with a manganese phosphate coating on all steel parts, 4xC5 radial internal clearance and ZZ steel shields on both sides. This range has 2 sizes, with bores of 12 to 25 mm in the 6200 series.
BECO rates it for -50°C to +350°C and recommends it only for 280°C to 350°C. BECO also notes that this construction has some limits for shock load and for resistance in difficult environments.

Selecting the right option
Select by bore, outside diameter and width first, then check the limiting speed for that size in the table against the shaft speed. Limiting speeds run from 65 to 85 rpm, so it suits slow running.
The static load rating is shown at 350°C and at 20°C. Use the figure for the temperature the bearing will actually run at.
BECO notes limits for shock load and for resistance in difficult environments with the graphite cage design. Contact AIMS Industrial if the application has shock loading or a harsh environment.
Fitting and use
The graphite cage is the lubricant, so do not add grease or oil to this bearing.
Press the ring that has the interference fit onto its seat, and never push through the balls or the other ring.
The shaft and housing expand with temperature, so check the fits at operating temperature.
