BECO BJ20U-2RS PTFE Lined Spherical Plain Bearing, Sealed, 20 x 35 x 16 mm

BECO maintenance-free radial spherical plain bearings to DIN ISO 12240-1 series E carry heavy radial load while letting the shaft sit out of square, which is the job a rolling bearing cannot do. The outer ring carries a PTFE sliding layer running against a hard chromium plated inner ring, so the joint runs dry, with no grease point and no relubrication schedule. That suits fixed-direction loads and any position where oil or grease is unwanted or cannot be reached.
It is sealed on both sides to keep dirt and water off the sliding surfaces. This range has 25 sizes with bores from 15 to 300 mm.

Selecting the right option
Select by bore d first, then check the outside diameter D, ring width and sphere diameter dK in the table against the housing and the mating part.

The misalignment angle shown is the nominal series figure. Check it against the movement the joint has to take.
PTFE lined joints suit steady, fixed-direction loads. For shock or alternating loads, the steel on steel type is the one built for it.
Fitting and use
Press only on the ring being fitted, and never through the sliding surfaces of the joint.
PTFE lined bearings are maintenance-free and need no relubrication.
