The Bossweld Manganese Bronze Flux Coated Welding Rod 5 kg is a flux-coated bronze brazing rod that promotes clean joints and reduces surface oxidation. It is classified AWS A5.8 RBCuZn-C (manufacturer-stated) and produces ductile, non-porous deposits with strong mechanical properties.

It is suited to gas brazing steel, copper alloys, cast iron, nickel alloys and stainless steel, and comes in 2.4 mm and 3.2 mm diameters in a 5 kg pack. It is flux coated.

Selecting the right option

Choose the diameter to suit the joint and the heat you are working with. The flux is on the rod, so you can start brazing without adding flux. Brazing and soldering fumes can be harmful, so work with good ventilation or fume extraction and check the safety data sheet for the exact composition.
