8G x 25 mm Countersunk Chipboard Screw, 304 Stainless Steel - CNQA28GX25
Available
Made in 304 (A2) stainless steel, the Countersunk Chipboard Screw (Ribbed Shank) is a countersunk head screw with a needle point and a ribbed shank. It is used to fix into chipboard, MDF and softwood.
You can choose from 14 variants, covering sizes 8G to 10G and lengths 19 mm to 100 mm. Pack quantities depend on size: packs of 500 to 1000.
Made from 304 (A2) stainless steel, a standard austenitic grade with good everyday corrosion resistance. It is a sound choice away from the coast; in chloride-exposed settings, step up to 316 (A4).
Austenitic stainless steel is generally non-magnetic, although cold-worked parts can show weak magnetism. Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.
