CRC ADOS F3 is a solvent-based, thixotropic, high strength contact adhesive with a polychloroprene (Neoprene) base. CRC formulated it to be non-spill and non-drip, and its data sheet says the gel suits vertical and ceiling applications and porous surfaces such as Gib board, including the end grain of particle board.
CRC's product page lists laminated plastics, hardboard and aluminium to wood, brick or metal; PVC cloth, plastics and rubber to wood, concrete or cardboard; felt to wood, cardboard or metal; and acoustic ceiling tiles to wood or concrete. It comes in a 500ml pack. The safety data sheet classifies it as a highly flammable liquid that may damage fertility or the unborn child.

Selecting the right option

Using it
CRC's directions: surfaces must be thoroughly clean and dry, and pre-wiped. Do not stir, as this will break the gel structure. Do not thin, as this will adversely affect performance.
Use a straight edge, notched trowel or the scraper provided to apply an even layer to both surfaces. Bond when tacky (10-20 minutes, tacky but not transferring to a clean finger). Contact is immediate, so position accurately, then apply maximum overall instant pressure, for example with a hand roller.
CRC's data sheet gives no shelf life for F3 and says to store it indoors at a temperature between 5°C and 20°C.

Limits and safety
Classified on the SDS as a highly flammable liquid. Signal word Danger. H225: highly flammable liquid and vapour. H304: may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. H315: causes skin irritation. H319: causes serious eye irritation. H336: may cause drowsiness or dizziness. H360: may damage fertility or the unborn child. H372: causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
