CRC Evapo-Rust Brush-On Gel Rust Remover 500ml

CRC Evapo-Rust Brush-On Gel is a brushable rust remover for mild steel and iron that clings to the surface, so you can treat rust where it sits instead of soaking the item or pulling it apart. It is the Evapo-Rust gel made for large items that won't fit in a dip tank, such as trailers, railings and fences, and its non-drip body holds on vertical surfaces and in hard-to-reach spots.

Brush on a heavy coat, leave it for 2 to 3 hours, then rinse and scrub off with water to check progress. Heavily rusted items and mixed materials need longer and may need a second coat. Unlike Evapo-Rust Ready To Use, this gel is classified as hazardous (corrosive, Class 8 dangerous goods), so wear gloves and eye and face protection and read the SDS before use.
