CRC Food Grade Multi-Purpose Grease is a white aluminium complex grease of NLGI grade 2, supplied in a cartridge with no propellant. CRC lists it for food production and processing applications.
CRC states it lubricates and protects ball, roller and plain bearings that operate under high loads and temperatures and need long grease life. It resists throw-off, shear breakdown and water and detergent wash-out.

Selecting the right option

Using it
CRC directions: do not mix greases of different base type.
Use a solvent to remove and clean out traces of incompatible grease before repacking.
To remove the grease, CRC's product page says to use a degreaser or brake cleaner product.

CRC's safety data sheet (revision 2.4) does not classify this grease as hazardous under Safe Work Australia criteria, so there is no signal word or H-statement. It is not a dangerous good for road, sea or air transport (ADG, IMDG, IATA). Do not mix it with greases of a different base type. Read the safety data sheet before use.
