Dixon T7WWW-050PL 1/2" BioPharm Weld Tee PL Finish - SF1

The PL finish (SF1) is mechanically polished on both surfaces: Dixon gives the outside as .812 and the inside as .508 (manufacturer-stated).
Dixon lists the tee to ASME BPE 2019 (table DT-4.1.2-1) and lists reducing tees as a separate range. The packing page says each fitting is capped, with a blue cap marking the PL finish, and that a material test report is included in the bag (manufacturer-stated).

Dixon prints the finish figures without a unit on its product pages. Its BPE surface finish table lists them as Ra maximum in micrometres (um), and the 2024 Dixon catalogue prints the same finishes as 32 Ra, 20 Ra and 15 Ra. Dixon describes mechanical polishing as smoothing the surface with tools and progressively finer abrasives, and electropolishing as an electrochemical process that removes material and leaves a smoother, mirror-like surface (all manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option
All three ends are weld ends in one tube size, so this tee suits a branch the same size as the run. If the branch is smaller, ask us about Dixon's reducing tee range. Match the tube OD and nominal wall from the table, then choose the finish from your process specification: the PL version is mechanically polished inside and out, the PM version is electropolished inside.
