Dixon QRVBABEEXT45BAG Quick Release Vehicle Bracket Kit, 4.5 kg ABE Extinguisher

This Dixon kit supplies everything needed to carry an ABE powder fire extinguisher on a vehicle: a quick release vehicle bracket, the extinguisher, a PVC extinguisher bag and a maintenance record tag. It comes in two sizes, for 4.5 kg and 9 kg extinguishers (manufacturer-stated).

Dixon designed the kits for heavy machinery, trucks, utes, large moving equipment and caravans where external and in-cab fire protection is needed, and notes the 4.5 kg kit suits smaller spaces. The extinguishers are approved by Australian Standard to AS1841.5, the extinguisher is cold roll carbon steel and the bracket is zinc-plated steel (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose the kit by the extinguisher size: the 4.5 kg kit is for smaller spaces and the 9 kg kit has the larger, higher-rated extinguisher. Dixon states that the items in the kit can also be bought on their own, so if you already have an extinguisher you can order the bracket, bag or tag separately from Related products.
