Dixon VR4000 4" Vapour Return Valve TTMA Flange, Bulb Design

This Dixon VR4000 is a vapour return valve with a 100 mm (4") TTMA flange connection and a bulb-shaped body that gives low resistance to vapour flow (manufacturer-stated). It has a 100 mm (4") adaptor with a poppet valve, two angled acrylic sight glasses and a drain plug, so fluid in the system can be seen and drained off.

The body is cast aluminium with nitrile rubber seals, and Dixon lists the range for gasoline and diesel vapour, including biofuels up to E100 and B20 (manufacturer-stated). The VR4000 has an air interlock mounting pad, and Dixon states that it requires the 5000AIV paddle plunger interlock. It is for use with standard 100 mm (4") side-seal fill collars only.

Selecting the right option

Check that your fill collar is the standard 100 mm (4") side-seal style, because Dixon states this valve is for those collars only. Order the 5000AIV paddle plunger interlock with it. If a sight glass is damaged, Dixon lists VR4000-4 as the replacement.
