Key specifications

Choosing the right option

Match the gasket to the ferrule size of the clamp joint, and to the material that suits your product and cleaning chemicals. Ptfe gaskets are not recommended with bolted clamps, and its clamp pressure ratings do not apply to 1" and larger joints with PTFE. PTFE is subject to plastic flow: after heat cycling the gasket does not return to its original shape and keeps compressing, which allows leakage if clamp torque is not maintained.
