Easy-Ten ET-S06B1UH Type S Heavy Chain Tensioner, Profile U, 06B1

The Easy-Ten ET-S06B1UH is a Type S sliding block chain tensioner for BS 06B-1 simplex roller chain, 3/8 inch (9.525 mm) pitch. It has the Profile U sliding block and the heavy tension box, which is the standard tension setting in the Type S range.

A spring-loaded box keeps the skate against the chain as the chain wears and lengthens, so it takes up slack on the drive without manual adjustment. The case and column are glass-reinforced polyamide 6, the skate is machined Poly HD1000, and the springs and fasteners are stainless steel.

Selecting the right option

Check the chain before ordering. This tensioner is for 06B-1 simplex chain, 3/8 inch pitch. Duplex and triplex chain and other pitches use different Type S models.

Fitting and use

Fit the tensioner on the slack side of the chain with the skate bearing on the chain. Set the position so the box has stroke available in both directions as the chain wears.

Check the chain tension and the condition of the skate at regular maintenance intervals. Replace the chain when the take-up is used up.
