Ergodyne Chill-Its 6715 Hard Hat Cooling Insert (12337)

The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6715 is a cooling top insert for a hard hat. It is cotton with acrylic polymers that give wet evaporative cooling for up to 4 hours after soaking in water for 2 to 5 minutes, and hook and loop straps secure it to the hard hat suspension (manufacturer-stated). Ergodyne lists the size as 16.5 cm by 17.8 cm (manufacturer-stated).

Re-wet the insert to use it again, and avoid over-saturating it. Ergodyne lists it as low profile and compatible with most hard hats and safety helmets (manufacturer-stated). Cooling products help with comfort in hot work, and they do not replace a heat stress plan with water, rest breaks and shade.

Ergodyne sells this item in multiples of 24, and this listing is a pack of 24 (AIMS record). The colour is blue (AIMS record). The insert is a comfort accessory and is not a part of the helmet's protection.
