Ergodyne Chill-Its 6716 Hard Hat Cooling Liner (12338)

The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6716 is a cooling sweatband liner for a hard hat. It is cotton with acrylic polymers that give wet evaporative cooling for up to 4 hours after soaking in water for 2 to 5 minutes, and hook and loop straps secure it to the suspension at the forehead (manufacturer-stated). Ergodyne lists the size as 33.7 cm by 4.8 cm and the colour as solid blue (manufacturer-stated).

Re-wet the liner to use it again, and avoid over-activating it. Ergodyne lists it as detachable, low profile and compatible with most hard hats and safety helmets (manufacturer-stated). Cooling products help with comfort in hot work, and they do not replace a heat stress plan with water, rest breaks and shade.

Ergodyne item 12338 is sold in multiples of 24, and this listing is a pack of 24 (AIMS record). The liner is a comfort accessory and is not a part of the helmet's protection.
