Hobson Flush Head Sleeve Anchor, 10mm / 55mm

This is the Hobson flush head sleeve anchor (flush head and zinc yellow passivate finish). The range has 8 items: 10 and 12mm in 45 to 105mm lengths. A sleeve anchor is fitted through the fixture into a pre-drilled hole and tightened, which expands the sleeve in the hole.

Choosing the right option

Choose the size and length together to suit the fixture and the base material.

A yellow zinc finish is electroplated zinc with a passivate layer that shows as yellow. The coating is thin, so keep these sleeve anchors for dry or sheltered locations and not for treated pine. Use yellow zinc on the dry side of the job, and move to hot dip galvanised or 316 stainless where moisture, weather or salt air come into it.

A sleeve anchor is fitted through the fixture into a drilled hole in solid concrete, brick or block, then tightened to expand the sleeve.
