Frontier Metal Detectable Ear Plugs, Blue, 100 Pairs (FRDTECPLGBL00C5)

Frontier's data sheet states the ear plugs are made to AS/NZS 1270:2002 (manufacturer-stated), Class 5, SLC80 27 dB (manufacturer-stated). These plugs are corded blue PU foam plugs that Beaver describes as easily discernible by metal detection systems, in a bright blue colour for easy compliance checks, and as 100% PVC free (manufacturer-stated). The data sheet and catalogue give no detection test result, so test the plugs with your own detector as part of your foreign body control program. They are supplied 100 pairs to a box, and the data sheet lists a carton of 10 boxes (manufacturer-stated).

These ear plugs are for single use. Roll the plug into a thin, crease free cylinder, insert it well into the ear canal while pulling the ear outwards and upwards, and check the fit. Do not use plugs if the bag has been opened or if the plug is dirty, damaged or hard (manufacturer-stated).

Choose hearing protection from your site noise assessment and check the fit on each worker.
