Gates HTD timing belts 5M section use a curved tooth profile for improved load distribution and higher torque capacity than trapezoidal timing belts. They are a well-established standard for industrial synchronous drives where moderate-to-high torque transmission is required, item 9293-33035.
Where this product is used
- 3M and 5M sections: domestic appliances, office machines, electric hand tools and processing/chemical industry equipment
- 8M, 14M and 20M sections: machine tool, paper and textile industry drives needing durability and low maintenance
- Any roller chain drive being converted to a lower-maintenance belt system
