Gates Truflex is a light-duty, wrapped fractional-horsepower (FHP) V-belt built for small drives that don’t need a heavy-duty section — auxiliary automotive drives (electric windows, wiper motors, central locking) as well as light industrial and domestic FHP equipment.

Truflex is a fractional-horsepower belt, not a heavy-duty industrial or agricultural section. Typical applications include:
- Auxiliary automotive drives — electric windows, wiper motors and central locking systems
- Small pumps, fans, power tools and domestic appliances built around FHP-section belts
- Backside-idler drives, where Truflex’s low cord positioning improves performance
