HSS Button Dies (also known as Adjustable Dies) are designed for cutting external threads. BSB is often confused with BS Cycle thread, the difference being that brass thread has an angle of 55° whereas Cycle is 60°. M2-HSS material provides increased wear resistance and superior thread accuracy. They also can be used to cut smaller or larger, than factory setting, by utilising the adjusting screws in the die holder.
