Galmet® Keytite® Steel Primer (Aerosol) is an enamel-based anti-corrosive primer that penetrates lightly rusted steel surfaces. Anti-corrosive pigments passivate the metal, giving a sound, adhesive base for any Galmet® topcoat.

- Maintenance priming on steel showing light surface rust

Selecting the right option
Remove all loose rust, scale and contamination before priming. Choose Grey for use under light topcoat colours, or Red for a traditional primer tone. Apply by brush, roller or direct from the aerosol, and allow to cure fully before overcoating with any Galmet® topcoat.
