LOCTITE 542 is a fast-cure sealant for fine-threaded metal pipes and fittings. This medium-strength adhesive locks and seals threaded metal assemblies against vibration loosening, and is resistant to fuel, oil, coolants and hydraulic fluids. Thixotropic nature reduces liquid migration after application. Breakaway torque, steel M10: 15.0 N·m. Viscosity: 600 mPa·s. Operating temperature: -55 to +150°C. Colour: Brown. Certifications: DVGW, WRAS.
