Loctite LB 8801 is a translucent, non-curing silicone grease. Henkel describes it as sealing, lubricating, protecting, waterproofing and electrically insulating metal, rubber and plastic parts.
It is used as a moisture barrier on electrical contacts, as a lubricant for rubber and plastic parts, and as a mould release agent. It also protects electrical connections against water infiltration and arcing.

Using it
The Henkel data sheet gives no surface preparation or application directions for Loctite LB 8801. Henkel's AU product page lists brushing or dabbing.
Because it is a non-curing grease, it does not cure or set.
Storage and handling
Store unopened in a dry location, ideally between 8 °C and 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C can adversely affect the properties of the product.
