Loctite LB 8014 Food Grade Anti-Seize 227g

Loctite LB 8014 Food Grade Anti-Seize is a smooth white, one-component paste of white lubricating solids and extreme pressure lubricating agents in an aluminium-gelled white oil. It prevents seizing, galling, friction and wear on threaded joints and metal-to-metal surfaces.

It is registered by NSF International to NSF Category H1, for lubricants with incidental food contact in and around food processing areas. Henkel notes this is a regional approval.

Choose this grade where incidental food contact is possible. Confirm the regional approval status with the local Henkel Technical Service Centre if you need it for audit.

Using it

Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and free of grease.

Apply a thin coating to the threads and flats of the nuts and bolts and assemble. Use it at full strength and do not thin it.

Do not return used product to the container.

Storage and handling

Store the unopened container in a dry location, optimally between 8 °C and 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C can adversely affect the properties of the product. Do not return used product to the container.

Limits and safety

Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, or as a lubricant for chlorine or other strong oxidising materials. The NSF H1 registration is described by Henkel as a regional approval. Read the safety data sheet before use.
