M6 Rivet Nut, 304 Stainless Steel - RNLA2M6L

This 304 stainless steel rivet nut is a threaded insert that is set into a drilled hole in sheet metal or tube with a rivet nut tool. It leaves an internal thread for a bolt or screw where only one side of the sheet is accessible.

This listing covers one size: M6. Every size comes in packs of 100.

A2 stainless (grade 304) gives sound general corrosion resistance for inside work, fresh water and ordinary outdoor exposure. It is not the grade normally chosen for coastal, pool or marine work, where A4 (316) is recommended. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.

In wet conditions, keep stainless steel apart from aluminium and galvanised steel with a washer or sleeve, to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.
