M5 Rivet Nut, 304 Stainless Steel - RNSA2M5

The Right Hand Thread Rivet Nut, Small Flange, 304 Stainless Steel is available in 4 sizes (M5 to M10) and is a threaded insert that is set into a drilled hole in sheet metal or tube with a rivet nut tool. It leaves an internal thread for a bolt or screw where only one side of the sheet is accessible.

You can choose from 4 variants, covering sizes M5 to M10. Pack quantities depend on size: packs of 100 to 250.

A2 stainless (grade 304) gives sound general corrosion resistance for inside work, fresh water and ordinary outdoor exposure. It is not the grade normally chosen for coastal, pool or marine work, where A4 (316) is recommended. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.

Austenitic stainless steel is generally non-magnetic, although cold-worked parts can show weak magnetism. Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.
