Mack Force Lace-Up Safety Boots, Black, UK/AU 4 (MK00FORCEBBF040)
Available
The Mack Force is a six inch lace-up safety boot with a steel toe cap, a cushioned PU midsole and insole, and a TPU outsole. Mack designed it for workers in the resource and construction industries who spend all day in their boots (manufacturer-stated). The upper is full grain leather in black and nubuck leather in honey.
The modRIDE midsole is built on running shoe technology, with a stability waffle zone on the medial side and a compression waffle zone at the heel for cushioning (manufacturer-stated). The ScuffCAP is an integrated moulded cap for high wear zones, and the wide anatomical toe cap reduces rubbing. The sole resists fuel oil, the boot is anti-static and it is designed to shed water (manufacturer-stated).
The manufacturer lists these approved standards: AS/NZS 2210.3 (Class I S1 SRA); EN ISO 20345:2011 (S1 SRA); ASTM F2413-18 (M I/75/C/75/SD) (manufacturer-stated). Check the marking inside the boot, and ask AIMS for the certificate if your site needs proof. Safety footwear does not replace a risk assessment, so choose the boot for the hazards on your site, and replace boots with a damaged toe cap, a worn sole or a split upper.
Height is 162 mm and weight is 775 g for a single boot, based on a men's UK 8 (manufacturer-stated). Sizes run from UK/AUS 4 to 13 with half sizes from 6.5 to 10.5.
