- Designed for high load capacity combined with relatively large static deflections in an axial direction.
- Their high loading for a given size is obtained by utilising the rubber to the best advantage in both compression and shear.
- Normally assembled with overload and rebound washers to control and limit the movement of the suspended equipment under the action of shock loads.
