The Metric Stud Anchor by Hobson is a Stud Anchor with zinc yellow finish used as a preassembled wedge type anchor in solid concrete applications where fixing is achieved by controlled torqueing of the nut which draws the tapered section up into the clip thereby expanding it outward and is suitable for light to medium duty loads. It provides Grade 5.8 strength and is suitable for hand rail fastening.

  • Through Bolts (Clawbolts) are preassembled single unit wedge type anchors used in solid concrete applications. 
  • Fixing is achieved by controlled torqueing of the nut which draws the tapered section up in to the clip, thereby expanding it ourward and forcing the clawbolt against the sidewall of the pre-drilled hole.
