The Nupla Classic ball pein hammer with a rubber grip has a precision forged, heat-treated carbon steel head on a Nuplaglas fibreglass handle. It comes in two sizes: an 8 oz (225 g) head on an 11 in handle, and a 12 oz (340 g) head on a 12 in handle.

Nupla describes the handle as super-duty, made from thousands of fibreglass strands encased in a proprietary resin. Nupla states that all Classic Nuplaglas handled tools carry a lifetime warranty (manufacturer-stated).
